Zalar, Boštjan

Professor Zalar is a High Court judge of the Administrative Court of the Republic of Slovenia and an ad hoc judge of the European Court of Human Rights.

He is a researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences and a lecturer at the Legal Clinics, Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Professor Zalar is a deputy rapporteur of the Working Party on Country of Origin Information and Country Guidance of the International Association of Refugee Law Judges. He is immediate past co-chair of the Working Party on Asylum and Immigration of the Association of European Administrative Judges.

Professor Zalar was a member of the Advisory Committee of the ELI project: "Statement on Case-Overload at the European Court of Human Rights".
