Stefano Giubboni is currently Full Professor of Labour Law at the University of Perugia. In 2007 he was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School, in 2010 a Dickinson-Dees Fellow at the University in Durham, and in 2014 a Visiting Professor at the University of Antwerp. In 2016, he was first a Research Fellow at Fordham Law School in New York, then a Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow at the Law Department of the European University Institute in Florence. He is a member of the board of directors of the Rivista del Diritto della Sicurezza Sociale and has been co-editor in chief of the European Journal of Social Law. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Giornale di diritto del lavoro e di relazioni industriali, and a member of the board of directors of the Rivista critica del diritto privato. He has been appointed several times as an expert in the field of EU social security law by the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee and by the European Parliament. As a practising lawyer he has been a member of the national scientific committee for Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani (AGI) from 2013 to 2016.
