Membership fees can be paid via SEPA Direct Debit, bank transfer or PayPal, with SEPA Direct Debit and bank transfers being the preferred methods of payment in light of the hefty administrative fee charged for the use of PayPal (also via credit cards on PayPal).
This is the ELI's preferred fee-collection method. ELI Members with bank accounts in the Member States of the European Union plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway and Switzerland are eligible to use this service. To make use of this option, please download the form here and once signed, please either scan and email it or send it per mail to the Secretariat. Please consult the Secretariat should you require any information.
Second to direct debit transactions, the ELI also prefers bank transfers. The relevant details are as follows:
Account Holder: ELI IVZW
Bank: ING Belgium SA/NV
Bank Address: Avenue Marnix 24, B-10000 Brussels - RLP Brussels
BIC (Swift): BBRUBEBB
IBAN: BE92 3630 9072 2423
Of course it is possible for you to add a standing order independently from your own bank account, as well.
In comparison to the forgoing options, the ELI is charged hefty fees to process payments under this heading. Having a PayPal account is not necessary as the system also allows payments to be made directly, eg by credit card. Please note that depending on the country from which you are accessing this website, different methods of payment may be available.
There are two payment options available on this site: one-off payments ('Pay Now') and recurring annual payments ('Subscribe').
