Lord John Thomas chaired the first session on ‘Commission v Poland and Solange or where is Kompetenz Kompetenz now?’, while Fryderyk Zoll (Professor, Jagiellonian University of Cracow) spoke on the panel.
The theme of the Conference was EU-UK Relations Law and Practice. The conference focused on exploring the latest developments in retained EU law from the twin perspectives of practice and legal theory, taking in the UK-EU Treaties and Protocols, as well as presenting UK and Continental perspectives on the latest constitutional debates in the EU itself.
