AI and Public Administration Project Team Continuing with Remote Discussions

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Public Administration – Developing Impact Assessments and Public Participation for Digital Democracy Project Team convened remotely on 26 May 2020 to advance their work.

The Project Team discussed, among other things, the general structure of the model rules they are drafting and existing standards of impact assessments, including relevant EU documents in the field of AI, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as initiatives in Canada, Germany and the UK. The Team also considered the project’s status and next steps to be taken.
