Supporting ELI Projects: Fritz Thyssen Foundation Awards Grant for Data Economy Project

13.03.2019

We are delighted to announce that the ELI received a grant of EUR 200,000 from the Fritz Thyssen Foundation (with a possibility to apply for another EUR 100,000) for the ALI-ELI Principles for a Data Economy project.

This collaborative project, adopted by the ELI Council in February 2018, aims to produce a set of transnational Principles that can facilitate the drafting of model agreements or provisions to be used on a voluntary basis by parties in the data economy. They can also be used as a source for inspiration and guidance for courts and legislators worldwide. The grant is the second so far awarded by the Foundation. The ELI is most grateful for its support. You can find more details here.
