Strategic Partnerships Officer

Petra Dunne is the Strategic Partnerships Officer at the ELI Secretariat, where she oversees and implements all aspects of fundraising, development and grant management to increase ELI’s impact.

Prior to joining ELI, Petra served as Chief of Development at the Global Center, where she led the expansion of the organisation’s fundraising programme, including the refinement and execution of its fundraising operations.

With over 20 years of experience in international development, Petra has worked for various non-profit organisations in the United States and internationally, including The Asia Foundation in Afghanistan, Pacific Forum in Hawaii, Education Pioneers, WaterAid America and the National Committee on American Foreign Policy.

Petra holds a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, with a concentration in international security policy.
