The General Council of Notaries is a public law corporation, with its own legal personality and full capacity, made up of the deans of the 17 Notarial Colleges. This Council represents the Spanish Notariat and has among its main purposes to collaborate with the Administration, maintain the collegiate organization and coordinate certain functions of the Notarial Colleges.
