The meeting is one of several to come in which Wendehorst, one of the Reporters of the ELI’s Empowering European Families (EEF) project, will enter into dialogues with national ministries with a view to soliciting their input on the project’s current drafts and to ascertaining how the drafts would work in practice in the respective jurisdictions. The project, which is financed by an EU action grant under the justice programme, seeks to improve the situation of international families by developing a toolkit for couples and their legal advisers.
