The meeting was possible thanks to the support from the Association of Land Registry Officers (Colegio de Registradores) and an ELI grant. BesIn addition to 23 thematic panels, there where special sessions on land registry law (coordinated by Jose Blas Pau, Land Registry officer) and consumer law. At the inaugural table, were Albert Ruda (Chair), María del Mar Marín (Dean of the Faculty at UPV), Dr Aneta Wiewiorowska-Domagalska (Executive Committee, ELI) and José Luis Gómez-Fabra (Director of the Centre of Land Registry Studies at the Dean Office of Valencia), all of whom gave speeches. The keynote speech was delivered by Prof Dr Hans Micklitz (EUI Florence).
