The meeting commenced with an introduction to the project by Project Co-Reporter Farsam Salimi. This was followed by presentations of national reports on admissibility of (e-)evidence in criminal proceedings, prepared by Project Team members, which covered Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal and the UK.
Participants reflected on the valuable contributions by Team members and discussed the next steps of the ELI project, including the precise principles to be covered by the output. The Project Team members were also joined by Advisors of the project.
