The ELI Annual Conference is one of the Institute’s flagship events, offering a unique forum for leading experts, including judges, legal practitioners, academics, and policymakers, to examine and discuss the most pressing legal challenges in Europe. The Conference also plays a crucial role in informing ELI’s ongoing projects and shaping its future work through dialogue with its diverse network of stakeholders. In 2026, we are particularly honoured that one of the keynote addresses delivered by Matthias Guyomar (President, European Court of Human Rights) and Donal O’Donnell (Chief Justice of Ireland; President, Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the Member States of the European Union) whose insights enriched the discussions and underlined the significance of this fundamental theme.
