ELI held a meeting with representatives of the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) to discuss developments relating to artificial intelligence (AI) liability and opportunities for future cooperation.

Representing ELI were President  Prof Dr Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell and Secretary General Dr Vanessa Wilcox. They met with Secretary General Leonardo Cervera Navas, Head of Unit, Sonia Perez Romero, and Legal Officer to the EDPS Secretary- General Monika Sukytė.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the evolving legal framework for AI liability and its implications for European law.
