ELI President, Prof Dr Teresa Rodríguez Heras de Ballell, addressed participants during the Opening Session of the high-level international Conference on ‘The Constitution and the Rule of Law in Contemporary Legal Systems’.

The Conference, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and held as part of the ‘Year of Constitution and Sovereignty’, provided a platform for reflection on key constitutional developments.

Supported by the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the event convened prominent lawyers, judges, academics, and public officials from around the world to engage in discussions on constitutional evolution, human rights protection, and the strengthening of the rule of law in today’s legal systems.
