A group of young lawyers from the Netherlands visited the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna. On the occasion, ELI’s Secretary General, Dr Vanessa Wilcox, informed those present about ELI and showcased its initiatives and expanding influence. Among other things, mention was made of ELI’s Young Lawyers Award, which provides a platform for the young legal community in Europe to propose practical improvements to European law.
ELI Co-Reporter, Lorena Bachmaier Winter, led the presentation on ELI’s Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and the Council on Mutual Admissibility of Evidence and Electronic Evidence in Criminal Proceedings (2023).
