The workshop is part of the Extra-Judicial Administration of Justice in Cross-Border Family and Succession Matters project, and it will take an informal interview format based on a pre-distributed outline. The goal is to share different experiences across Europe on how legal professionals are shaping modern divorce proceedings beyond traditional courtroom settings.
The workshop will be introduced by Elena Bargelli (Full Professor at the University of Pisa; Family and Succession Law SIG Chair and Co-Reporter of the above ELI project), and Elisa Stracqualursi (Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pisa), who also serve as the organising committee for this event.
The panel will feature conversations with distinguished legal professionals from across Europe:
- Eleni Kontogeorgou (notary based in Athens)
- Alice Meier-Bourdeau (avocate au Conseil d'État in Paris)
- Andrei Moisescu and Maria Stanca (notary based in Bucharest and practitioner notary respectively)
- Javier Serrano Copete (notary based in Barcelona)
