14.04.2020

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Public Administration – Developing Impact Assessments and Public Participation for Digital Democracy feasibility study Team met remotely on 30 March and 14 April 2020.

The two meetings focused on the finalisation of the ELI feasibility study which, together with the project proposal, will soon be put to an ELI Council vote. Among other things, the Team considered certain conceptual issues with respect to the project, which aims at drafting model rules on assessing the impact of artificial intelligence used in the context of public administrations, that could serve as an inspiration to European legislators and relevant stakeholders. Participants also discussed how to organise their work.

The next remote meeting is scheduled for 28 April 2020.
