Irish Hub Co-Organises Meeting on Perspectives on Law-Making

23.10.2025

The event will take place on 23 October 2025 (16:30–19:30 CET) at Leister House, Dublin.

Paul Keane, Secretary of LSE Alumni Ireland and Co-Chair of the ELI Irish Hub, will co-host a conference.

Two distinguished speakers will share their insights:

  • Professor Niamh Moloney (LSE Law School), acting as a leading expert on EU law and financial services, will examine what lies ahead for EU financial services law and why it matters to us all.
  • Deputy Ciarán Ahern TD, solicitor and current Chair of LSE Alumni Ireland, will provide insights into his role as an opposition spokesperson in shaping Irish law.

This event also offers a rare opportunity to experience the historic Leinster House (Kildare Street, Dulin). A guided tour will be available before the conference (places strictly limited*). The evening will conclude with a Q&A and continued conversation in the famous Dáil Bar.
