As part of the ELI in the World series celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the European Law Institute (ELI), ELI President Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell met with representatives of the Embassy of Spain in Ireland during her visit to Dublin.

The meeting took place alongside the Law Society of Ireland event "Ireland and the EU – An Opportunity for Influence: Threats to the Rule of Law and Adopting a Commonsense Approach to Tech Regulation", at which the ELI President delivered a keynote address.

Representatives of the Spanish Embassy, including the Chargé d'Affaires and a Counsellor, attended the event and welcomed the opportunity to meet with President Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell. The engagement reflected the Embassy's interest in ELI's work and in the themes explored during the Dublin programme.

The exchange provided an opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest relating to European legal developments, the rule of law, and the challenges and opportunities presented by technological innovation and regulation.
