Turkey’s trade with the EU is crucial, with a large share of exports going to EU countries. The EU’s Green Deal, aiming for sustainability and carbon neutrality, will greatly affect Turkish businesses. To stay competitive, Turkish companies must meet EU standards, requiring significant changes to their practices and laws. This panel will explore how Turkey can navigate these changes, focusing on the impact of environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulations, contractual liability, and corporate law.
