The purpose of this Conference is to bring together distinguished scholars and practitioners to analyse the detection of the various forms of violence against women that may emerge in the context of child relocation following separation. The mechanism of return under the 1980 Hague Convention on International Child Abduction will also be examined, with a view to ensuring full respect for the best interests of the child, alongside Council Regulation (EU) 2019/1111 of 25 June 2019, applicable within the European Union.
