Astrid Stadler

Astrid Stadler is Professor of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Private International Law and Comparative Law at the University of Konstanz. Her research focuses on contract and property law, national, European and international civil procedure, and collective redress. She is a leading expert on mass litigation and collective redress and previously held a part-time Chair in Comparative Mass Litigation at Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is President of the German Association of Civil Procedural Law and co-editor of the legal journals Juristenzeitung (JZ) and Journal of Civil Procedure – International.
