Celina Nowak

Celina Nowak is Professor and Director of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Professor at Kozminski University in Warsaw. Her research focuses on criminal law and criminal justice, particularly corruption, economic crime, corporate criminal liability, compliance and the protection of the financial interests of the European Union. She serves as Secretary General of the European Law Research Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP). She has also acted as an expert for institutions including the European Commission’s European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish Parliament.
