Christine Chambers Goodman

Professor Goodman teaches Constitutional Law, Evidence, and Comparative Anti-Discrimination Law as a tenured Professor at Pepperdine Law School. She is a member of the American Law Institute, and researches and writes on equal protection, implicit bias, algorithmic bias, affirmative action, diversity, and evidentiary issues. She has taught in international law programs in Switzerland, London, Uganda, and India. With two published books and dozens of law review articles, she frequently speaks on equal protection, implicit and algorithmic bias, and civility topics. Professor Goodman attended Harvard College and Stanford Law School before litigating civil cases. A former President of California Women Lawyers and Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Outreach of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, she now serves on the National Conference of Women' Bar Associations Board, the Executive Committee of the American Association of Law Schools’ Evidence Section, and the Western Center on Law and Poverty Board.
