H J Snijders

Henk Snijders is Professor Emeritus of Civil Law and Civil Procedure at Leiden University. His academic work focuses particularly on property law, contract law, civil procedure, arbitration and legal decision-making. He currently acts (as an arbitrator in institutional and ad hoc proceedings, serves as a member of the Bahrain International Commercial Court and of the Dutch Arbitration & ADR Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce. He also represents the Netherlands in UNCITRAL Working Group II on Dispute Settlement. He previously served as Professor of Private Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam as a deputy judge in Dutch civil courts.
