H J Snijders

Henk Snijders is Professor Emeritus of Civil Law and Civil Procedure at Leiden University. His academic work focuses particularly on property law, contract law, civil procedure, arbitration and legal decision-making. He currently acts as an arbitrator in institutional and ad hoc proceedings, serves as a member of the Dispute Resolution Tribunals of the Bahrain International Commercial Court, and represents the Netherlands in UNCITRAL Working Group II on Dispute Settlement. He previously served as Professor of Private Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Leiden University and as a deputy judge in Dutch civil courts.
