Maria Cecilia Paglietti

Maria Cecilia Paglietti is Associate Professor of Private Comparative Law at the Department of Law of Roma Tre University. Her research focuses on European and comparative law, consumer law, payment services law, civil justice and procedural law, alternative dispute resolution, clinical legal education and private litigation funding. She holds a PhD in Consumers and Market from Roma Tre University and has been admitted to the Italian Bar since 2004. From 2015 to 2021, she served as a member of the Banking and Financial Ombudsman, appointed by the Bank of Italy.
