Nelson Rosenvald

Nelson Rosenvald is a Brazilian lawyer, legal scholar and Professor of Civil Law in the Master’s and Doctoral programmes at the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research (IDP). His research and professional work focus on civil law, civil liability and corporate law. He holds a Master’s and PhD in Civil Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and completed postdoctoral research at Roma Tre University and the University of Coimbra. He is President Emeritus of the Brazilian Institute of Civil Liability Studies (IBERC) and previously served for 34 years as a Public Prosecutor at the Public Ministry of Minas Gerais.
