Steven O Weise

Steven O. Weise is a Partner in the Corporate Department at Proskauer in Los Angeles. He specialises in commercial law, particularly the Uniform Commercial Code and secured transactions, as well as third-party opinion letters and contract law. He is a member of the Permanent Editorial Board for the Uniform Commercial Code and the Council of the American Law Institute and has served on numerous UCC drafting committees, including those responsible for the 2022 amendments addressing digital assets. He has also taught secured transactions at UCLA School of Law and previously chaired the American Bar Association’s Section of Business Law.
