Wino van Veen

Wino van Veen is Senior Counsel at Baker McKenzie in Amsterdam, Professor of Corporate Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Director of the Amsterdam Institute for Financial Law and Corporate Law (ZIFO). His practice and academic work focus on Dutch company law and the law of not-for-profit organisations, including national and cross-border mergers, demergers and conversions, joint ventures and corporate governance. He has served on expert groups concerning the European Foundation Statute, Dutch private limited liability companies and partnership law. He is also editor-in-chief of a leading handbook on Dutch legal persons and partnership law and has authored and edited numerous publications in the field.
